Project: Novotel+Ibis + Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia + Architecture: Kamal Homsi & Guillaume Crédoz + Date: 2006 + Status: pending

Two hotels on a very small land, one Novotel and one Ibis. The project is designed as two long elements with lobbies/patios in betwen. Rooms are grouped by three within a box, boxes are assembled like bricks with three variations of position and angle. This create a animated pattern of volume toward the surrounding streets and the inner courtyards, while providing shade to the rooms.
