The existing SAT headquarters are a two-floor concrete structure that housed a greek meat market situated in Montréal's red light. The SAT are to add three floors to fullfill their goals. As the three added floors have to be a steel structure (very diferent from the old one below) the decision is taken to fully assume this choice by creating a very strong sculptural shape that lands inside this region to bring a broad range of techno-art-thrilling people along with their lifestyle, fiestas and exhibitions.
